Breaking the lease will not go on your credit unless it is accompanied by an eviction. Some landlords, me included, dont pursue broken leases legally if we are getting rid of a difficult tenant. If you were not difficult, moving to another state is a good reason to break a lease and we would forgive you for the balance of the time.
